What to expect in Online Sessions

Each therapy session will be structured to address the client’s needs through the treatment goals developed and adjusted throughout the course of therapy. This approach supports the client’s well-being within the safety of a strong therapeutic alliance.

  • First Session: Complete Initial Assessment, address needs for therapy, connect with art therapist/therapist and art therapy/psychotherapy process. This is a great time to ask further questions in moving forward with therapy.

  • Each session will be scheduled between client and therapist.


Computer Set-up for Online Sessions

What you will need for online Art Therapy Sessions:

  1. Access to laptop or desktop computer with audio/video capabilities (such as microphone, webcam, and speakers) and a strong internet connection is required.

  2. If Art Therapy services, Access to your art materials (Art therapist will connect with you about the use of art materials within sessions)

  3. Private space where you will not be interrupted, which will also maintain confidentiality and privacy of sessions.
